Leprechaun Prep Language Pack (Quick pack!)
Leprechaun Prep Language Pack (Quick pack!)
Leprechaun Speech Therapy Quick NO-PREP Language Pack! Now includes a Google Slides version with moveable pieces for a no prep option!
Designed for pk-5th depending on skill level
Assembly: None! Just print and go! You will need something to color with! Let me do the planning for you this St. Patrick's Day Week!!
The pack is similar to my other mega NO-PREP language packs, but I made it smaller due to the short duration of this holiday. If you have purchased my other NO-PREP packs, don't worry, his pack has new targets and activities!
There are 11 language targets, each with two different pages! These are great to use in therapy or to send as homework!
☘ Leprechaun Positions: The student is prompted to color the picture that goes with the phrase (in, in front/behind, over/under, between, next to, above, below, on top of).
☘ Lucky Categories: The student will name three items in the given category and color each shamrock as they name them.
☘ Color by Categories: The student will color the picture according to the key (there are small images in different categories on the picture).
☘Hidden Pictures Category: The student will color the picture according to the category key at the bottom.
☘ Compare/Contrast: The student will name how each pair of objects are the same and different, then color the picture.
☘ Listening Comprehension Stories: There are two stories included. The student will read/listen to the story and answer the questions below it. When they answer a question they will dab or color the shamrock.
☘ Sentence Gold: Each pot of gold has a sentence on it. The student will color dab or color the face below it according to the key (good sentence vs. needs work). The object is for the student to hear if there is subject/verb agreement. They are prompted to verbally correct the sentence.
☘ Antonyms: The student will draw a line between the two shamrocks that contain antonyms and color each pair a different color.
☘ Pot of Gold Synonym Search: The student will cut out the words at the bottom of the page and glue them underneath their synonyms.
☘ Lucky Adjectives: The student is prompted to write two adjectives in the boxes about the object in the shamrock. I have the student color the object and shamrock after.
☘ Color by Association: The student will fill in the blank with the association and color the number in the picture.
☘ Shamrock Word Work: This can be used with any vocabulary lesson. The student writes the new vocabulary in the box indicated and checks if they’ve heard the word or not. They will then write what they think it means. The next box asks them to write the actual meaning (dictionary definition). After that, the student will write a sentence with the word in it. There are boxes for them to list a synonym, antonym, and related words. Finally the student will draw a picture about the word! This page came from my Vocabulary Journal activity!
☘ BONUS Color A Leprechaun Open Ended Game: Roll a die and color the part of the picture listed by that number! Keep rolling until the picture is finished! In a group game, if you roll a number you already colored, your turn is skipped!
☘ BONUS Drill sheets: For articulation: the student will color in a heart each time they practice a target word (70 trials on each sheet). For language: the student will practice a language objective/question and roll a die. They will color that number of objects on the drill sheet. The full color versions (located in a separate folder) can be used with dry erase markers, place-markers, or play dough).
