Answer with Pictures ~ Print & Go for WH Questions
These short passages were created for students working on listening or reading comprehension, wh-questions, and listening for details in a story. They were intended for students who are beginning to work on these skills and need extra support (pictures). Each passage is short (5-7 sentences) and relatable to most children.
There are two options included for each story:
- Cut and paste activity: This adds a craft and fine motor element to make it more engaging. I included 12 answer choices for the 6 questions. The teacher or therapist can choose to use all of them or remove the some of the incorrect answers, depending on their students’ needs (customizing the field of answers for each child). Your students can color or dot the correct answers before cutting them out (optional ).
- Color or dot the answer: Use a bingo dotter or crayons/markers to dot or circle the correct answer (out of a field of three). This option is great for a quick lesson.
There are 20 included stories (in seasonal themes) with 6 questions for each story.
