Bring science to your speech sessions! I created this resource to be a companion to the simple baking soda & vinegar volcano experiment (I added food coloring and glitter to my recipe for more drama). This is great for whole group lessons or to use as a celebration activity (I do activities like this once per 6 weeks).
Please note: I am not a science teacher, these were not designed for science classes (although the visual supports could be incorporated into science lessons). This product is great for following directions, sequencing, describing, and having fun (not meant to teach the scientific method).

To use: Complete the experiment (please supervise students closely), use at your own discretion. Use the visual recipes and sequencing boards appropriate to your students’ needs. Please follow all safety precautions in your setting. I borrow safety glasses from the science lab for this experiment. Choose which worksheets you want the students to complete (you can easily use this packet over several sessions leading up to or after your do the experiment). I have my students sign the contract before we do the experiment. All of the activities included are to be used at the therapist’s discretion depending on the students they are working with.
