A little background about the Author of Panda Speech Resources:

A note from the Author: My children's books are for any young learner (they are not just for speech therapy). Many speech therapists and teachers use my books in their lessons but families can also enjoy the books at home. My board books are perfect for 3-6 year olds and my other books are beneficial for toddlers to elementary aged students (depending on the book!). Most of my books come with coloring pages and downloadable extras that I encourage families to print out and use them at home too (see the back page or back cover of the book to find the links).
For my educational materials and books: My hope is that my original materials will help busy SLPs and educators build a library of effective materials!

Information about Amanda's speech therapy practice: Amanda is a speech language pathologist working in Texas. She has experience in the school systems, ECI programs (early intervention birth-3yrs), and outpatient clinics. She currently owns a private practice that primarily contracts to school districts.
Amanda is available for speaking engagements. She provides trainings/topics in the area of IEP Documentation/Case management best practices for SLPs; IEP goals & Reliable data collection; SLP Entrepreneurship; Self Publishing; and Setting Boundaries in the workplace. Amanda has a LOVE for community involvement! She is a Special Olympics coach (track and swimming) and Kids Inclusion Coach(softball). She serves on the Board for Smiles for Speech. Smiles for Speech is a 501c Non-Profit that provides therapy services and materials to children in underserved areas all over the world.
Past volunteer experience: Coach for little league teams (soccer and t-ball), Cubmaster for Cubscouts, Fundraiser chair for Boy Scouts, served on the Special Olympics Area Team Advisory Board, and served as the Communications Chair for the Panhandle Regional Speech & Hearing Association.
