Anywhere Speech and Language Strips ~ On the Go Speech Therapy

I created these strips to be used anytime and anywhere! They contain a variety of common speech therapy targets for an elementary to middle school aged caseload. They come in color and black & white with 4 strips to a page to save you paper and ink.

It includes Anywhere Articulation® Strips and Anywhere Language Strips.

 The articulation strips come with 10 target words and a carrier phrase for phrases and sentences. Most sounds come with a mixed sound position strip (great for carry over). The speech therapist can use at their own discretion.

 The language strips come with a variety of language tasks with and without picture support.

 Suggested assembly:

• Cut out strips and laminate. Keep them on a key ring.
• Place the full sheets in page protectors and keep in a notebook.

 Ideas for use:

• Use as a grab and go speech therapy activity
• Use while playing your favorite game in speech therapy (play the game as directed and use the strips as the targets in between turns)
• Quick drilling
• Progress monitoring (use these each progress period to measure progress over time)
• Color the black & white copy
• Send the black & white copy as homework

 Articulation targets included: initial/final: p, b, m; final n, t, d; initial: h, w, y; initial/medial/final/mixed: k, g, f, v, l, s, z, sh, ch, j, th; pre-vocalic r, er, ar, or, ire, air, ear, mixed vocalic r; initial sblends (separate mats for sp, st, sm, sn, sk, sl, sw, mixed); final sblends; initial lblends; initial/medial rblends; & minimal pairs for final consonant deletion, velar fronting, stopping, gliding, and cluster reduction.

 Language targets included: categories (name the category, name 3 items in a category), which one does not belong, compare/contrast, wh questions, how questions, association, multiple meaning words (with and without picture support), action words, antonyms, synonyms, define/describe, regular/irregular past tense verbs, regular/irregular plurals, fix the sentence (sentence absurdities), fix the sentence (subject/verb agreement), following directions (1-3 steps), idioms, and conversation starters (favorites, what if, feelings, and would you rather).
