As I am reading the book Mr. Gingerbread's buttons, I hide the felt buttons under the last flap of the book. When we get to that page, the students can take the buttons and put them on the Mr. Gingerbread. We then dress the gingerbread person up to match his other friends in the book. This can be used as an open-ended dress up game as well. Put the candy cane and hot cocoa on the hand, make them pretend to drink etc.

To clean: Do not put in washing machine or dryer, wash with warm cloth and mild soap.
